Terms of service

1. About these terms

These terms apply to your use of LET NEXUS (the “service”), provided by LET NEXUS LTD, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17404019), registered office 190 Park Road, Dukinfield, SK16 5LP (“we”, “us”). By creating an account you agree to them on behalf of yourself and any business you represent (“you”). LET NEXUS is intended for landlords and letting businesses, not for personal consumer use.

2. Your account

• You must give accurate information and keep your login details secure.
• You’re responsible for everything done under your account and by team members you invite.
• Tell us straight away if you think your account has been accessed without permission.

3. Free trial and subscription

• New organisations get a 7-day free trial. No card is needed to start it.
• To keep using LET NEXUS after the trial, you need a paid subscription, currently £10 a month. Payment is taken in advance each month by card through Stripe, and the subscription renews automatically until cancelled.
• If the trial ends or a payment fails and isn’t resolved, access to the service is paused. Your data is kept and you can still export it.
• We may change the price with at least 30 days’ notice by email. The new price applies from your next billing date after the notice period.

4. Cancelling

You can cancel at any time from your billing page. You keep access until the end of the period you’ve paid for, and we don’t refund part-months. We may suspend or end your account if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms.

5. Acceptable use

You must not:

• use the service for anything unlawful, including unlawful discrimination against tenants or applicants;
• upload anything malicious, or try to access other customers’ data or disrupt the service;
• send messages through the service that people haven’t agreed to receive, or that are misleading;
• resell or copy the service without our permission.

6. Your data

You own the content you add. You give us permission to store and process it only as needed to provide the service. You can export it at any time. When you close your account we delete it as described in our privacy policy.

7. Data protection

For personal data you add about other people, such as tenants, applicants, referees and contractors, you are the controller and we are your processor. We will:

• process that data only to provide the service and on your documented instructions;
• keep it confidential and secure, and ensure our staff and providers do the same;
• use only the sub-processors listed in our privacy policy, and tell you before adding new ones;
• help you respond to requests from individuals and notify you without undue delay of any personal data breach affecting your data;
• delete or return the data when you close your account, unless the law requires us to keep it.

You’re responsible for having a lawful basis to collect and use that data, and for giving people the privacy information they’re entitled to.

8. Tenant screening

LET NEXUS helps you collect applications, documents and references. It doesn’t give applicants a score and doesn’t make decisions. You’re responsible for your letting decisions and for meeting your legal obligations, including Right to Rent checks and equality law.

9. Not legal advice

Reminders, compliance suggestions and guides are there to help you stay organised. They aren’t legal advice, and you remain responsible for meeting your obligations as a landlord.

10. Availability and changes

We work hard to keep LET NEXUS available and secure, but can’t promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. We may improve or change features over time. If we make a change that significantly reduces the service, we’ll tell you in advance.

11. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that can’t be limited by law. Otherwise, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of profit, business or data, and our total liability in any 12-month period is limited to the fees you paid us in that period.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We’ll show the date at the top and email you about significant changes before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the updated terms.

13. Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
